Prevention through Awareness. Education Based Programs for Elementary, Middle and High School Students
Education Based Programs
The Foundation provides series of workshop-based drug education programs using techniques in Art and Music Therapy as a means to help kids avoid the pitfalls of substance abuse.
Substance abuse is a lifestyle choice; enable resilience in students, covering issues such as self-esteem, peer pressure and risky behavior.
To instill a sense of responsibility where they would be more likely to avoid risky behaviors relating to substance misuse.
Integrated Curriculum
Our curriculum is developed to break down barriers between disciplines and make learning more meaningful to students.
Community focused to educate about the underlying reasons for substance misuse, the range of substances currently in circulation, and to encourage them to have better communication with their peers and parents.
Sessions incorporate real-life stories and ‘share sessions’ that provide a catalyst for further discussion around substance abuse, mental health, depression etc.
